Step 1: Clean Your Gear
Start by thoroughly cleaning your Super Sprouter Germinator glass jar and lid. You can wash them with hot soapy water or place them in the dishwasher for sterilization.
Step 2: Choose Your Seeds
Opt for high-quality, food-grade sprouting seeds such as mung beans, adzuki beans, mustard seeds, and lentils are great for beginners!
Step 3: Measure the Seeds
Use a general guideline of about 1 tablespoon of small seeds or 1/2 cup of legumes for your jar size.
Step 4: Rinse the Seeds
Rinse your seeds under running water using the lid as a strainer to remove any dust or debris.
Step 5: Pre-soak the Seeds
Fill the jar with water, allowing the seeds to soak overnight to kickstart germination.
Step 6: Drain the Seeds
After soaking, drain the water using the lid sieve and set the jar in an upright position to ensure there is no excess water.
