Dried yeast is dormant until proofed or dissolved in a small amount of water. It is used to aid in making a dough rise such as in bread, doughnuts, hot cross buns and pizza bases.

How to use

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight for less than 12 months.
